Our goal is to achieve the lowest cost for floating solar electricity which is achieved by combining prefabrication and a very clever design.

SunlitSea was founded in March 2019 by Per Lindberg and Kodeworks AS as a technology provider to the floating solar industry. With a new and rapidly growing market, SunlitSea aims to utilize the potential for minimizing cost, increasing lifetime, power production, optimizing operation and maintenance, degradation, safety, and decommissioning.

Sunlit Sea is supported by a core team of 12 people, whereof five has a PhDs. In addition, two PhD and one postdoc research fellows are supported by Sunlit Sea and are devoted to our project.
